When Olivia and Christine, 2 sisters from a family of jewellers, launched Olivia for Kids. An online brand with a simple mission; offer high-end jewellery for kids and moms at an affordable price.
After a slow start, things started to take off and Olivia for Kids grew to become a mainstay in Belgium and the Netherlands for high-end kids and moms jewellery. Even being noticed by Libelle, Kek Mama and many other magazines.
Moms and kids loved our collection. But more and more of our customers were not moms at all, but friends and family buying a present for themselves or their loved ones.
Becoming a weekly occurrence, we felt the time was right to give our friends and customers an easier way to find what they were looking for. We decided to launch Olivia Jewellery.
We long debated what we wanted to do differently. So many online jewellery brands were already focused on chasing the latest trends and we weren't sure whether we wanted to keep up with that.
But after trends came and go, we felt what actually missed was high-end jewellery that you would still want to wear in 5 years, or even 10 years. Not cheap and disposable, but long-lasting, subtle and made from high-quality materials like gold and silver.
Our hope is that we can convince people to spend a little bit more for something they'll eventually cherish for life.
That is why all our pieces are made with high-end materials like gold and silver and crafted by hand in our shop in Antwerp. And even if we'll offer some unique pieces each season, our focus will always be on traditional elegance.
